2025 Scholarship Recipients

The McCoy-Porter scholarship is named after two men in honor of their contributions to Frontier. And we continue to honor Joe M. Carrigan through the memorial scholarship specifically for the Atchison area schools. Each recipient is awarded $2,000.00. We are proud to assist these recipients in their educational goals and wish them all the best in the future!

Mikaela Hough

McCoy Porter Scholarship Recipient

Attended Lansing High School - Graduated in 3 years with a 3.96 GPA

Heading to Pensacola State College - Dental Hygiene 

Active in various school sports and continues to work part-time.

Looking forward to dedicating her life to helping her patients become confident in their smiles.

Attended Leavenworth High School - Honor Roll all semesters all years

Heading to University of Kansas - Pharmacy Program

Active in various sports, community activities and volunteer opportunities, and worked part-time.

Heading to Highland Community College - Marketing

Active in various sports, extracurricular clubs and activities, and worked part-time.

Active in various sports, extracurricular clubs, and community service, and worked part-time.

Looking forward to helping farmers produce food, fiber, fuel, and pharmaceuticals in a more cost-effective and efficient manner through precision agriculture technologies.
